Obituary

Marcus C. Ulland Jr.

March 11, 1955- December 13, 2025

Marcus passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025, surrounded by those he loved. While our hearts grieve his loss, we find comfort in knowing he is now reunited in heaven with loved ones who went before him.

He grew up in Dutton, Montana, a small town where he formed lifelong connections and was known by many. He was a gifted multi-sport athlete in his youth and later earned a business degree, which laid the foundation for a successful and respected career.

Often described as a strong and dependable man, those closest to him knew him as someone deeply faithful, living with integrity, kindness, and purpose. He had a special way of making people feel seen, valued, and genuinely cared for, and his encouragement and steady presence meant more than words to many.

He found great joy in the outdoors and loved time spent hunting, fishing, and boating. Adventure was an important part of his life, especially shared with his wife. Their love story began decades ago and grew stronger with time, filled with travel, laughter, and cherished memories.

He built a successful career through hard work and natural leadership, and after retiring, he moved to his oceanfront home at Discovery Bay, where he found deep peace. This special place became his sanctuary, a place of reflection, beauty, and calm where he will now rest.

Above all, he was a devoted husband and a proud father and grandfather. He is survived by his immediate family, as well as extended family and many dear friends who will always carry his stories, laughter, wisdom, and love in their hearts.

He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and joyfully reunited with those he loved in heaven.

"We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord"
-2 Corinthians 5:8
