In Loving Memory of Jaime Leonardo “Leo” Asuan
Jaime Leonardo “Leo” Asuan passed away on August 8, 2026, leaving behind a life filled with love, dedication, friendships, and countless memories that will be deeply cherished by those who knew and loved him.
Leo was a devoted father, husband, son, brother, friend, mentor, and coach. Above all, his children held a very special place in his heart. He loved his family deeply, and the memories they created together will forever remain a treasured part of his legacy.
For 23 years, Leo dedicated his career to the City of Seattle, where he worked as a Senior CAD Technician for SPU. He took great pride in his work and built many meaningful and lasting friendships throughout his years of service. His dedication, knowledge, and commitment earned the respect of the many colleagues who had the privilege of working alongside him.
Outside of his career, one of Leo’s greatest passions was basketball. For many years, he coached girls’ basketball, becoming much more than a coach to the young women whose lives he touched. He encouraged them, believed in them, challenged them to grow, and celebrated their accomplishments both on and off the court. The heartfelt memories shared by his former players are a beautiful reminder that his influence reached far beyond the basketball court.
Leo also had a love for shoes and enjoyed building his collection over the years. Something those closest to him knew was unmistakably Leo. He will be remembered for the things that brought him joy, his friendships, the people he supported, and the many moments, both big and small, that made him who he was.
Leo’s life cannot be measured simply by the years he lived, but by the people he loved, the lives he touched, and the memories he leaves behind.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, coworkers, former players, and everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the impact he made will live on through all those who carry his memory in their hearts.
Forever in our hearts, Leo. You will always be loved, remembered, and deeply missed.
