Jill-Ellen Fisher
Obituary
Jill-Ellen Fisher, known lovingly as Jill or Jillibean to those
closest to her, passed away on June 8, 2026 at the age
of 55 in Seattle, Washington, after two courageous
battles with breast cancer. Born September 28, 1970 in Walpole, Massachusetts, Jill grew up surrounded by a tight-knit family who shaped the warm, generous person she would
become.
Jill enjoyed working
as a mortgage lender processor, where her attention to details and
genuine care for people made a lasting impression on colleagues and clients
alike.
Anyone who spent time
with Jill knew she was caring, loving, and loyal to her
core. She had a deep love of crafting and true crimes. An avid reader, who
always had a book nearby. Jill enjoyed the fall season, savoring every
crisp day, every changing leaf, and every cozy moment the season had to
offer.
If you ever had the
pleasure of knowing her for karaoke night, you knew you were in for a good
time.
Jill had a tender
heart for cats and cherished her own beloved cats, who were very
much part of the family.
Jill is survived by
her devoted husband Steven Fisher, her sisters Christine Larson (David) and Jacquelyn Oakes (Ryan), and a wide circle
of friends and extended family who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother Carolyn Tracey, stepfather Ronald Tracey, and father Kenneth Ferguson.
Jill's faith brought her comfort and strength,
especially during her illness. Her family takes solace in knowing she is now
at peace in the arms of the Lord, reunited with those who went before her.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Seattle,
Washington at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends as plans are finalized. The family encourages donations to a
local cat rescue organization in Jill’s memory.
