Obituary
Marjorie Louise Marshall (Marge), 89, of Monroe, Washington, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on January 12, 2024, following a brief illness. She passed peacefully at her home, surrounded by family. Marge was born on August 26, 1934 in Vancouver, Washington, to Goldie M. and Charles A. DuChien. She graduated from Franklin High School in Seattle, Washington, raised her family in the Seattle area, and at the age of 40, graduated with honors from Highline Community College with an AAS degree as a registered nurse. After retiring, Marge and her husband, Don, followed their dream of moving to Leavenworth, Washington, where they built a large log home and opened The Old Brick Silo Bed & Breakfast, where her gift of hospitality and love for people was expressed often to family and strangers alike.
She
is survived by her brother, Lonny R. DuChien; her husband, Donald E. Marshall;
and her ten children: Richard Einar, Adrienne Beste, Patricia Ehinger, Kathleen
Aitkins, Marian Samac, Robert Marshall, Robert Carmody, Kevin Carmody, Theresa
Reas, and Michael Marshall. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 61
great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life
will take place on February 3, 2024, at 3:00pm, at Chapel of the Resurrection,
16300 112th Ave, NE, Bothell, WA 98011 (on the campus of Cedar Park Church).
