Ardes Fayth Flory

Obituary

Ardes Fayth Flory was born on October 15, 1946 in Bismarck, North Dakota to parents Raymond and Gladys Moos. She grew up on a farm in McClusky, North Dakota, where she graduated from high school in 1965. In 1974, she moved to Seattle, Washington, where she spent most of her time raising her children. Later in life, she would go on to work in the aerospace industry, eventually retiring from the University Swaging Corporation.

In her younger years, Ardes loved camping and other outdoor activities. Her children have fond memories of camping with her at Nason Creek. Ardes was most passionate about gardening. She always looked forward to springtime when she could go flower shopping, and she would spend time making sure she planted them in their proper element. She had a green thumb like no other. Along with her gardening, she loved her birds, especially hummingbirds.

Ardes went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 2, 2024. She passed away peacefully with family by her side in her Lake Stevens home. She was preceded in death by her sisters Debbie and Diane and her granddaughter Nicole.

She is survived by her 5 children, Teresa (Dan) Marshall, Charleen Burghart, Tamera Cannon, Craig (Amanda) Burghart, and Brian Buckingham, and 5 of her siblings, Cora, Marsha, Warren, Donald, and Jeff.

She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, Danielle (Garret), Sean, Mason, Jessica, Ashley (Wade), Stephen, Brandon, Jacob, Luke, Joanna, Rebeka, Faith, Leah, and Victoria (Eric), as well as 11 great grandchildren, Noah, Liam, Aubrey, Ezri, Hunter, Jonah, Eli, Avery, Paxton, Rylie, and Genevieve, and finally, her beloved dog Cooper.
