In Loving Memory of Colleen Buckner

Colleen Loke was born in Minnesota in 1939 and moved to West Seattle in 1945, where she grew up and graduated from Holy Rosary in 1957.

In 1961, Colleen married Melvin Buckner, and together they moved to Bothell. In 1967, they welcomed their son, Brian, who became the light of her life.

Colleen enjoyed an active life filled with adventure and time spent with family. She loved bowling, snow skiing, water skiing, and taking day hikes with her family. She also had a passion for sightseeing and traveling, enjoying opportunities to explore new places and experience the world around her.

As the years went by, Colleen found joy in gardening and embracing a quieter, country-style life. She appreciated the simple pleasures of home, nature, and the peaceful moments that made life special.

Colleen will be remembered for the many experiences she enjoyed, her love of travel and the outdoors, and the life she built with her family. Her memories and the moments shared with those who knew and loved her will continue to be cherished.
