In 2001 Hank earned a second Masters Degree in teaching from Seattle University and taught 5th & 6th grades for 10 years at Thoreau Elementary in Kirkland, WA until his retirement in 2011.

Hank volunteered at Eastside Foursquare Church in the Sunday School for children, stuffed newspapers for Prisoners for Christ and fed homeless kids at New Horizons in Seattle. He participated in Community Bible Study for 12 years. In all of his activities, Hand dedicated himself to loving others.

Hank is survived by his loving wife, Marianneke Tellekamp Snider, and his brothers and sister, Susan Snider, Fritz Snider, Anne Ryun, Teeny Jones, Cate Miller and Tom Snider. He will truly be missed by all.
